Gracier National Park is found in the US. The park is the best around to watch different species of birds. The birds are favored by the variable climatic conditions and the area contains aquatic terrestrial and riparian habitats that are ideal for the birds. There have been more than 260 species of birds based here. Some of birds found here are also common in other areas of the world though they may have different species.

Gracier National Park has birds like herons, bitterns and egrets. They are classified as members of the Ardeidae family. These are medium sized to large sized wading birds. There are also the Kingfishers, medium sized birds with large heads, short legs and rough tails. The park has only one of their species. Tree peckers are also small woodland birds. They are brown at the top and white under the belly. They have thin pointed down – curved bills that they use extract insects from tree backs of trees. The park has one of these species.
