Gracier National Park is found in the US. The park is the best around to watch different species of birds. The birds are favored by the variable climatic conditions and the area contains aquatic terrestrial and riparian habitats that are ideal for the birds. Gracier National Park has birds like herons, bitterns and egrets. They are classified as members of the Ardeidae family. These are medium sized to large sized wading birds. They are medium sized nocturnal birds that have long wings and short bills. They are cryptically colored and they resemble tree backs. There is only one species in the park and 86 worldwide.
Graciers National Park is home to smaller birds like woodpeckers. These are medium sized and have long tongues for capturing insects. The area has 11 of their species. There are also the Kingfishers, medium sized birds with large heads, short legs and rough tails. The park has only one of their species. Tree peckers are also small woodland birds. They are brown at the top and white under the belly. They have thin pointed down – curved bills that they use extract insects from tree backs of trees. The park has one of these species.
